Whether it has been a year, a month or a day since your last opportunity to connect with your friends at SPRI, there is always electricity in the air at the annual conference. Reconnect with your SPRI network with a welcome cocktail in the SPRI Suite.

Opening Banquet
We’ll kick off the Conference with this great opportunity to catch up with your SPRI colleagues. The opening banquet will feature recognition awards, dinner, and great entertainment.

Spouse Event — Wine Tasting
Don’t know chardonnay from champagne? Does the thought of reading a wine list make you dizzy before you’ve had a glass? This session will teach you the fundamentals of tasting, evaluating and describing wines. It is the ideal class for those who wish to develop or increase their knowledge of wine including food and wine pairing. Whether you have tasted many wines or are just beginning your vinous adventures, you will find this session rewarding and pleasurable. Wines will be accompanied by a selection of hors d'oeuvres and the champagne with mini desserts.

Team Building — Marine Discovery
Experience the sea as never before. Enjoy a private boat tour North on Mandalay Channel to view areas around Clearwater Beach where you can observe the wildlife and beauty of our Intracostal Waterways. Our Marine Biologist tour guide will throw a net into the waters. Everything that is pulled from the sea will be identified and displayed in an aquarium kept on the boat. Explore an uninhabited island and search for shells indigenous to Clearwater Beach. Each guest will have time for a close up look and maybe even a touch, will hear interesting fish facts and stories and have ample time to ask questions.

A Gulf Coast paradise and historical landmark, perched on one of the highest points of Clearwater Bay, Belleair Country Club proclaims the first golf course in Florida. Transportation will be provided from the Sandpearl Resort to the Country Club and back.

Closing Banquet

Cancellation Policy — Optional Activities
Full refunds will be given if written cancellations are received at SPRI headquarters before January 8, 2009. SPRI reserves the right to cancel any optional activity and issue a full refund should there be insufficient participation. No refunds will be given to individuals who cancel an optional activity on-site.
