Spouse Event: Sonoran Glass School Tour and Glass Work
SOLD OUT. If you would like to be added to a waitlist, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Experience glass art first-hand. Tour the gallery, the Flame Shop, the Warm Shop, and the Hot Shop (studios that focus on torchworking, kiln-firing, and glassblowing, respectively), and the Sculpture Garden. Then put on your gloves and glasses and try your hand creating a glass-blown ornament. Your finished piece will be delivered to the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in time for you to take it home. Space is limited.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Your safety comes first, so we require that every student at SGS wear closed-toed shoes. Safety glasses are required for some classes (which we’ll provide). Please wear comfortable, cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, just in case. Depending on the class, students should also tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry.
Opening Night Dinner, Recognition and a night at the SPRI Casino Royale
Join us as we celebrate the successes of the past year and recognize the efforts of our fellow SPRI Members with the annual presentation of the SPRI Member Appreciation Awards.
Feeling as though the odds are in your favor? Grab your lucky socks or lucky rabbit foot, put on your flashiest jewelry, and get ready to test your luck! After the awards presentation, join us for the SPRI Casino Royale. It does not matter what your game is - blackjack, roulette, craps or poker, all that matters is that you are coming to win.
P.S. Wearing black or red increases your luck, so be sure to dress up!
Get Your Porch On
There is something very satisfying about kicking-back on the front porch with a beverage in hand and your friends by your side. Join us for some casual lawn games and some laughs. We will supply the beverages, the games and the rocking chairs, you supply the camaraderie.
