International Roofing Expo Session
The purpose of D.O.R.A. (Directory of Roofing Assemblies) Program (“Program”) is to provide contractors, designers, code officials, roof consultants, and other interested parties with a web-database of membrane roof assemblies tested for wind resistance in accordance with standards referenced as part of Chapter 15 of the International Building Code (IBC). This listing service contains roofing assemblies that currently are not in other services. Some of the roofing assemblies included are wood decks, LWIC, light gauge metal and cementations wood fiber. This session is presented at all levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced.
1. Use the database to find wind uplift rated assemblies.
2. Identify the safeguards employed to verify only credible data that meet the requirements of the building code are included in the database.
3. Utilize the database launch into your business plans for your business.
4. Determine the advantages of this database that is not covered by other databases.
